This endearing, cozy, two-level home is located on the corner of Holiday Hill directly off Lanier Lane in Massanutten Resort, and s professionally managed by M Power, LLC, the local, premier vacation and rental company in the Elkton area since 2010! The Nut House is perfect for a romantic, family, or friend get-away with its three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Enjoy the large, 6–8-person hot tub on the main deck after enjoying all the Valley and resort has to offer or languish in front of the outdoor propane fireplace while grilling is done on the large propane grill.
** Thanksgiving, Christmastime through New Years Day, and JMU Graduation require a 4-night minimum while other holidays require a 3-night minimum. **
Enter the Nut House via an electronically locked door. Directly to the right of the entry way is a large closet where guests may store coats or shoes. Also to the right is the first queen bedroom with a closet and dresser for storage.
At the end of the hall is the large queen suite bedroom that offers plenty of natural light, storage, a full en-suite bathroom, and views of the woods behind the home (perfect for watching deer and other wildlife stroll by!).
To the left of the entryway is the great room which offers an inviting living room with large windows and doors leading to the main level deck, dining area that seats six, and a perfectly quaint kitchen. The kitchen offers all basic cooking essentials as well as stainless steel appliances and plenty of countertops for prep work. There is also an eat-in bar.
During the winter months, snuggle up on the comfortable living room furniture while watching TV and enjoying a fire in the propane fireplace. Off the main level living room is a sprawling deck that offers ample room for entertainment. Between the propane grill, propane fireplace, spacious hot tub, and woodsy views, there is plenty for everyone!
Back inside and down a short flight of stairs, is the basement level that offers an additional full bathroom, bedroom with two twin beds, open living room with plenty of seating, mounted TV, and games. There is also a children’s table with two chairs and a queen-sized futon for additional sleeping arrangements. Please note the fireplace on this level is ONLY for looks - please do NOT burn anything inside.
Outside this living room is a mounted canoe that guests may use with permission (any loss or damage to the canoe is subject to a replacement fee by the guest). A set of outdoor stairs makes getting up to the main level deck a breeze.
PETS ALLOWED: 1 adult dog, ONLY; must have ALL current vaccinations; renter must sign Pet Policy and pay pet fee. Guests must clean up all pet waste from the yard. Local leash laws must be adhered to. For more info, please contact us.

WELCOME TO MASSANUTTEN!
This home is part of the Massanutten Property Owners Association (MPOA) and is governed by its rules and regulations, as well as federal and state laws and local ordinances. There are short-term rentals in all MPOA neighborhoods, but people also live here. Your nearby neighbors may be full-time residents, including families with children, retirees, or owners of second homes enjoying their retreat. Please respect their privacy and property rights, along with those of other guests in our private residential community.
NOISE
Noise that is unreasonable in the judgement of MPOA or its designated agent is prohibited at any time. Quiet Hours are between 10PM and 7AM.
PARKING
All tires must be off the roadway. DO NOT BLOCK FIRE HYDRANTS! Our private neighborhood roads are “highways” for law enforcement purposes per Rockingham County ordinance.
Do not park adjacent to any other homes or lots unless this home’s owner or property manager has told you he/she has explicit permission for you to do so.
Parking rules violators may be subject to having their vehicles towed.
If you cannot park all your vehicles on this property or on the adjoining shoulder of the road, overflow parking is available at the MPOA Owners’ Swimming Pool parking lot at 4007 Peak Drive.
NOTE: Buses, campers, and RV’s may not be parked at houses or along neighborhood roads. With prior MPOA approval, they may be parked in the overflow lot during your stay.
NO OPEN FIRES
You are in an area that is at risk for wildfire! NEVER leave any outdoor fire unattended.
ALCOHOL
Open containers of alcohol are prohibited on any road or common area.
PETS
Pets are not allowed to run at large. They must be leashed at all times when off this property.
Pet owners are required to clean up after their pets.
TRASH
DO NOT place trash anywhere outside the house, including on screened porches. It will attract wildlife that could endanger you and damage the property.
Rates & Availability
Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
